I don't think it is a KKM, the hooked buttplate and shape of the buttstock indicate it tis something other than a KKM. The website won't let me call up a large picture and I don't want to enroll in it just for this so am going by the small picture in the ad.

There are a lot of variations of the Walther small caliber match rifle. As the description says, this variation is featured in the 1976 Walther KKM catalog

I will make an educated guess...

I own the 1972 version of the rifle. My rifle has a stippled grip instead of checkering and according to some printed Walther advertising of the period it is a Walther UIT not a KKM, which was the “full on” position rifle (hooked butt plate, hand rest, thumb hole stock, etc). This is my favorite iron sight rifle. Great trigger. NRA 23/5 targets routinely score 197 to 200. Enjoy your new find.
