Mark IV Volquartsen Accurizing kit install

OK, I've done two installs so far...one on my Mark IV Target and the other on my wife's Mark IV 22/45 LITE. Both function just fine but there is one thing bugging me.

I have another kit to install in my wife's Mark IV Target and, before I do, I have to ask! There is one washer included in the Hammer/Sear bag that I can't figure out (see photo). It's not the spacer that's used on the hammer bushing, it's a smaller Blued washer. WHERE THE HECK DOES IT GO!?!? I see no reference to it on Volquartsens website or the youtube videos.

I figure I'd ask because I'm looking at a couple of rainy days coming and There's no harm in working on all three pistols!

It goes between the sear and spring on the 22/45. It is not needed for the Standard.

There should be a shiny washer that fits over the hammer bushing on the opposite side from the flange. I don't see that in your parts bag. Earlier kits did not have it, but Volquartsen will send you one if you contact them. Without it, the safety rattles around a bit, but the pistol will function just fine.

I did an install last night. On the kit I had the shiny washers were in 2 separate bags, one labeled standard the other 22/45.

Also the small black washer in the hammer/sear bag is mentioned in the Volquartsen install web page. I had to go back and look why I had an extra part when finished.

Great! I'll take my wife's LITE apart and install it when I'm doing her Target!
Thanks!

Yes, the shiny spacers come in separate bags, clearly labeled now.
