I would like to get a better scope for my Savage MK2. And I know you get what you pay for but does anyone know truly if you can get anything decent for a $200.I want just shoot 50-yard target paper I know it's my scope when I shoot mid-grade Target ammo. I know it's my scope because I get two groups here two groups here three groups are and they're all touching but the group just move. I tested a lot of mid-grade Target ammo today are all shotwell but CCI for the price you'll get one two maybe three flyers way out but the group's well with the seven or eight that stay in thank you

There is a scope section to help you search for a decent scope for around $200

Sorry I can't help as I'm out of touch with whats out there myself.
As far as the rifle shooting 2 groups & you're sure its the scope, I ask this. Have you tried another trusted scope to confirm this? I would start there.
Having a MKII & having shot with a bunch of them I know they are very ammo sensitive, as are most 22s.
Hope you get it sorted out!

The Vortex Crossfire II 6-18 is an excellent scope that you can find new on eBay for under $200. I recommend this scope anytime someone is looking for a "budget" scope. It has good glass, AO down to 10 yards and the VIP warranty. IMHO it's the best scope available that you can get for under $200 and is a better scope than it's price indicates. The BDC reticle is good. The V-Brite reticle is great if you can find one but they usually cost a little more.
