Weird, my 10/22 loves Xperts and Win 555. No worse than any other bulk pack ammo I've tried in the past 2 years.

Well that is great it works and meets your needs! So many are not as lucky. Bunches of shooters have to climb the "ammo-money ladder" until they find the intersect point of the gun, then the ammo and then the accuracy/distance performance they want. I'm lucky enough to meet my needs with VG plinker ammo, CCI-SV'ish, and not need any performance/target ammo... yet.

I've gone through a couple of the 100 pks of Wildcat w/o issue. I don't know the accuracy cause the range is so close, but they cycle, go off, and eject; more than I can say for AutoMatch LOL

I have what in my inventory equates to a ton of Wildcats. I have it vacuum packed in 5 box packs and will probably use it to hunt rats and squirrels when "The Boogaloo" hits.

Winchester Wildcat ammo isn't very accurate or reliable, it is a low budget plinking ammo, and I believe that is how they intended for it to be marketed. The best ammo I have found the last five years as far as accuracy and being reliable for all my rifles, is Aguila, not their standard velocity, that stuff isn't very accurate in anything I have. Their high speed Super Extra I find really hard to beat.

Are you shooting the newer 40gr dynapoint Wildcat? I've had good luck with it in my pistols and 10/22. Seems to be alot more consistent than the 555 and Xpert packs.

When we were kids in the mid-70's, Wildcats were our go-to for plinking. They were consistent, reliable and reasonably accurate. They cost between $8-9 a brick then. Mini-Mags were the 'good stuff', reserved for serious target shooting and hunting.
