Kimber of Oregon 82 Custom Match

I am looking at a Kimber of Oregon 82 .22LR. CUSTOM MATCH. The gun is in 98% + all orginal condition with one magazine. there is no box or manual. I have never seen one for sale. What would be a reasonable offer on that rifle? My understanding is that they made very few of them.

The going rate is between $5,000.00-$6,000.00 depending on a true 98% gun.

This is a case of where the words, rare, hard to find, and seldom seen, really do apply.
If that gun were on an auction site, there would be a bidding frenzy.
Best,
Gary

Ok. I see. So its just because small number made.
Is it any better than any other Kimber of Oregon? As shooter ?

Perhaps learning a little about what it is you are buying would help:

I mean , I know its somewhat rare, but to be a true high $$$ collectors piece it has to be LNIB. Just my opinion, but I am FAR from an expert on Kimbers, even though I owned a few.

I am just trying to give you an honest opinion. NIB guns have sold for more. 2 years ago I sold a friend's used CM with box and papers for $6,000.00 with 1 phone call.

Yeah. I believe You . I just thought that collectors prices are only paid for LNIB guns.

I think this one is more of a shooter. No box, wrong bases ad rings. Just my opinion.

We seem to have forgotten the one that recently sold on Gun Broker after a bidding war for slightly more than $7.6K. No rings, no box, no paper, and a few minor cosmetic issues.
Hmmmm

Hmmmm
No that was over 9 months ago, and the gun was perfect in all ways with leupold scope, original bases rings etc, no box or papers.

one sold at the sd auction here are the links one was 4850 no box mag missing, but rings and bases

https://www.proxibid.com/aspr/Kimber...p?lid=38661618

I would pay less if no rings and bases, rings are easy, bases are harder to find, not impossible but hard.

Shooters are hard to find, I like shooters. Only lose a few bucks value for those items. They can be sourced.

I agree with You
I still think that collectors want pristine , complete examples.
