You're right - those grips are REALLY ugly.

Let's see, that's a stainless steel Hunter upper, and a blued aluminum grip frame? Actually, the grips don't look all that bad with that combination.

Somewhat jealous. Love those things (apart from the grips, natch) but could never find one when I could afford one.

I've never really cared for rubber grips for center fire pistols with a little more recoil, but the TandemKross grips that came with the Striplin thumb and safety rest are growing on me...I dont' have to draw from a holster with the 22/45 for Steel Challenge

I love Ruger Mark IV in all their variants.
Especially the Talo Raffir Hunter Editions.
If you ever decide to sell those grips I would appreciate first in line position
You will love that pistol
Congrats on a great one

I am a huge fan of Volquartsen as well and the Raffir will like the action package as well.

Here are my favorite grips on my Black Mamba and 22/45 with Volquartsen 5.5 inch Ruger Barrel from the VQ Bargain Bin

I like the feel of these grips and the fact that there are so many colore.

Grips are from StonerCNC.com

I like those grips. They don't have them in red.
