a 10" CMMG dedicated upper and bolt group is very quick handling, easy to maintain, and with the larger magazine only one interruption to your strings to reload... plenty of aftermarket trigger options, and reliability I don't see with 10/22 and 15/22 that friends shoot... I use poly magazine lip Black Dog Machine mags

I think maybe I just got lucky, but my 15/22 shoots very reliably. It wouldn’t cycle standard velocity ammo initially ( no surprise there) but after the first brick or two of high velocity it shoots standard fine too.

My recollection puts my malfunction rate at less than one per 500 rounds, which is pretty darn good

I do like the looks of your rifle though.

I added the Bore Buddy heavy duty firing pin... I think the SBR is about done... ordered the VQ trigger, sear and hammer for 22/45 MK IV...local club shoots a Rimfire Challenge match... 3 stages, you shoot the pistol first, then rifle...5-7 targets
