I started with the Aimpoint 9000SC but found it way too heavy to manage.
Have no idea why the image is rotated counter clockwise.

Good morning guys!

I would enjoy hearing back from you with your recent scores from both matches and practices.

Last match two weeks ago I posted a 831

A week ago I posted a 845 in practice.

I have a match tonight and will let you know how I do.

These scores are for a 900 point match

I have yet to shoot a practice match with mine. I did mount an old ADCO 30mm sight on it. I have shoot it maybe 150 rounds with CCI Standard at 50' in my shop. Not in shape yet to hold it steady but that will come with practice. I need to get my eyes checked and probably adjusted for astigmatism because these red dots are no longer even close to round. Sun flares and odd shapes. I have an Ultradot 30mm matchdot I may move onto the Pardini and see if the 2MOA dot setting will work better for my eyeballs.

Thanks for the rotation, Hushkaboom.
I hope you don't mind all the pics I posted on your topic.
I was just trying to show the Dick Horton grips and a couple of Red Dot options I have tried for others who may be interested.

The dots in my Red Dots are no longer round either for my aging eyes but you can still make them work for you with enough practice.
Old guys have more trouble than young ones for sure.

Hey Hush, Sag,

I am in the same boat as you guys. I have done the crazy scientist European pistol shooting glasses, spent a small fortune on a optometrist for a pair of glasses that deliver migraines, and looked through thousands of red dot scopes.

While waiting for some prescriptions, I took a look at the off the shelf glasses while I was waiting in line. They had some foster grant tri view glasses so I came back with a couple of red dots and SW 41 iron sight barrels to see how they would work and found that that 1.5 power was really good for me.

Rite aid had a holiday sale, buy one pair, get two free so I cleaned out every rite aid in the Traverse City area.

Then as I was playing around with them, I took a look through my C-More reflex sight and noticed that it was the most beautiful round red dot I have seen in 20 years. Well, the C-More did not work well with the pardini but currently I am using a trijicon RMO on mine and the dot is round.

Grab a red dot and head to the pharmacy and try them out and see if they work.

Regards,
Crankster

Sagittarius add all the photos and info you can!
Cranky thanks for the link. I'll check the Rite Aid near here and see if they have those glasses.
