Work Sharp??

Just watched an advertisement for a sharpening system called "Work Sharp" on the outdoor channel and it looked like it might be a pretty slick sharpening system. Anyone out there have any experience with it?

I have one and I love it, the day I got it I sharpened all our kitchen knives in less time than it would have taken to do one or two with one the many other sharpeners I have.
Great company too, I registered it online and they sent me 4 new belts for free

That looks like a miniature version of the 3 wheel belt sander used by many metalworking shops. Burrking makes a similar design for only a little more. $3000 more.

Read the reviews on amazon and don't buy the deluxe kit with the bag, the bag is too small and you wind up paying $20 for a storage bag and something else you will probably never use.
I ended up putting mine in a small Rubbermaid container with a handle.

It took me 20-25 minutes to sharpen all of these the first time I tried it out, now I could probably do it in half the time.

It works great for shortening screws without screwing up the threads, I have used mine for a few gun related projects too

I did, too, and my kids got one for me for Christmas...used it the first time last week. Great product, made in the USA, and sharpens like crazy. I use my crock sticks to touch up, but for a first sharpening....OBOY!

Have one and love it. My only complaint is I can't get the 6000 grit replacement belts anywhere. Any ideas?

Which one do you have? The original, or the Ken Onion Edition?

For the standard model:

For the Ken Onion Edition:
