My "new" 1956? 40X marked "U. S. Property" with standard barrel.

Not original in this guise, but I like it anyway!

I did something like that with one of mine. Serious muzzle forward weight if you’re an offhand shooter.

My Remington Mod 37 ... I'm pretty sure that the sights are incorrect. The rear only has one screw holding the sight on and there is no tappped hole for the screw hole in front. Also, the rear of the sight mount extends past the safety blocking it's use.
