I just bought a 44 US, no letter.
Can the adjustable trigger parts be put on this rifle?

If they are from a 44 a,b,c,d yes. It will help some but due to the design not much!Do not stone trigger or sear as they are only case hardened. Hardness is only .0005- .001 deep!

Joe the trigger on this rifle is pretty good as is. I put a liter trigger spring in it and got down to about 2lbs.or less. Any liter and it would fire on closing the bolt.

I put the factory spring in it when i sold it to you.

Try different springs in it before you buy another trigger.

Adjustable trigger only makes the trigger harder to pull. Some believe this was a safety device for training young shooters?
