i Currently have a Luepold 2 1/2 X 8 scope on my Cooper but am looking to re-scope it with a higher power rimfire scope. What are you all running on your coopers.

leupold VX2 4-12,VX2 6-18, or a weaver 4-16. All with an adjustable objective lens.

I have had a Leupold 3.5-10 on mine but it is so accurate I just put a 20x on to shoot it more on the bench. I believe I may get a 6-24× just so I can shoot bench and hunting without switching scopes.

A Leupold 4.5-14 ao is a nice step up without going too large.

I agree with Camster that that scope would be good.

Both of mine have Leupold 4.5x14x40mm on them and they are very nice.

Great scope but a little overkill on a rimfire from my perspective. Now on my long range 6.5 CR it would work great.

I like the specs on this. Lots of guys seem to like the Weaver GS 4x16 with Varmint reticle. To be honest all I need is gear glass and good returnable turrets.

Nightforce NXS “overkill”?

If the object is shooting with the utmost precision, then the Nightforce
scope is no more overkill than the Cooper 57M Varmint rifle itself.
Both were designed to give the shooter a certain edge in precision and
durability.
I also own Leupold scopes and consider them to be of fine quality.

I've recently moved up to a Leupold 6-18X40 AO from a Leupold 4.5-14X40 AO. I just wanted a little more magnification. Both are great scopes.

It is that!

My 57M is a Classic with wood stock. I use it mostly as a squirrel gun but do like to go to the range occasionally and shoot groups.
