In good condition at my local pawn shop, wood grips, serial number indicates a 1992 year of manufacture.

Gave it a test fire today, functioned good with Remington Thunderbolts and Golden Bullets and of course Mini Mags.

Federal copper plated bulk pack hollow points were a total no-go in terms of function.

Looks like Ill be sticking with Remington or CCI ammo.

You'll find that the more you shoot this little critter, the more smoothly it operates. Assuming, of course, that you keep it cleaned and lightly lubed every 100 rounds or so!

Those are amazing and I regret never getting one. You might also try Aguila standard velocity ammo. It runs as clean and reliable for me as CCI standard velocity. My local Cabela's is selling it for $25/500rds right now.

Yes, quality ammo like CCI mini-mags and keep the chamber really clean.

Thanks for the feedback, I’ve had a couple of these before and always regretted getting rid of them. They are too much fun to not have at least one!

Great AND fun, little pistols to shoot, aren't they? (Remington Golden Bullets seem to work fine in them and also S&W revolvers, too!)

Enjoy your Beretta.

My first ever Beretta (of several subsequently) was a similar vintage Bobcat. That one was subsequently stolen subsequent to home break-in robbery 10 yrs ago and was the only of three firearms not recovered by LEOs. I liked that little pocket pistol enough that I snagged the one shown below (old image hosting picture but remains representative of condition) on a private party transfer sale not previously been shot. I doubt many of the "EL" bling versions were produced...
