Transfer bar issue

I've been a stalker on here for some time and I respect the opinions of the regulars who post in this site. I recently bought one of the Stainless Bisley Single Sixes from Rural King. I have enjoyed it a lot and have fired about 600 rounds through it and now the transfer bar is hitting the firing pin when I try to cock it with the muzzle is pointed down. This started to happen following a cleaning. Any ideas as to why it is doing this all of a sudden. Did I break something? It still fires just fine and cocks ok too when the gun is pointed up or at least level. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you say you cleaned it, do you mean the standard practice used for years of removing the cylinder, cleaning the chambers and barrel and wiping off the exterior, or the current vogue to completely strip the pistol to its basic components?

make sure the cylinder pin is installed all the way, there is a spring loaded pin on the end that puts pressure on the transfer bar. The pressure keeps the transfer bar from making contact with the firing pin while cocking the gun.

Thanks for the advise, it was the cylinder pin not all the way in. It is working perfectly now. What a blessing to have a rimfire community to assist the newbies.
