Anyone shooting the 457 AT-ONE with 16.5" barrel ? Curious about the average accuracy your getting.

Just found one. So far, with 'match' grade ammo getting about 1 MOA.
Was able to hit all KYL targets, including 1/4", at 75 yards with CenterX, first outing! Nothing has quite matched the older 452, this one might.

Average about 1/2 moa at 50, shot my first perfect green monster with mid grade natch ammo,at 25 yards
Circles are 1” at 50 with several mid to low grade ammo’s

PJ
Oh And FYI, besides adding a trigger spring and a lot of weight it’s basically stock.

Excellent shooting, nothing wrong with how that one shoots.

A good friend of mine has a 457 AT-One with 16” bbl. I gave him a Nikon 6-18 scope for it. Shoots little bitty bug holes with CCI SV.
Kinda makes me a little jealous, actually. I have rifles that I’ve dumped a bunch of money into, and I shoot higher-end ammo, and his stock 457 shoots just as good.

Nothing to fancy, just a piece of walnut , some time on the power sander and drilled a couple holes to fill the gap,, add some Tung oil to finish it off,, it does stabilize the little bit of wobble they tend to have in them.. and adds some weight,, making it a little more stable on the rest..
Same thing on the cheek rest, but that was considerably more complicated,
John

I personally think the AT-1 stock looks lurid, but those walnut accents makes it look very commendable
Very tasteful, indeed, sir!

Last fall I shot twelve five-shot groups at fifty yards using SK Standard Plus ammo. I threw away the biggest group, and then my average dispersion was 0.49” - sub-MOA!
