Rear tang question

I have plenty of these except for the flex shaft from Harbor Freight on the bottom. I think I'll grab one of them next time I'm there.

I take an allen key and I cut the short end of it down so that I clear the ocular on my scope. Once its loosened up it comes off pretty easy. I can remove it in about a minute .It's really not a big deal.

I believe the op was talking about removing the rear tang from the receiver. I think.......
