Couple questions on 10/22 Target bull barrel / Titan

Getting ready to pick up a new 10/22 Target bull barrel. In handling it, I realize the barrel is definitely that, HEAVY. My plan was to swap it into a Victor Titan stock.

Questions:

1) Will the Titan do well supporting this barrel, as-is, without any additional bedding, etc..? Maybe a dumb question, as the Victor site mentions "bull barrel" plenty. I just recall the single action screw in the 10/22, and that barrel seems awfully heavy...

2) What's a reasonable price to ask for the factory laminate stock? I have no use for it, but figure others might. It's nice looking, if nothing else. I don't see any in the classifieds here, nor can I find any on the auction sites for reference.

Thanks in advance!

$100 is fair for a new take off stock. As far as the heavy weight, get the Spike to go with the stock and you should have zero issues.

Couple questions on 10/22 Target bull barrel / Titan

I have a KIDD 20Ē match bull barrel and titan stock. Zero issues and Iím not using the spike. Only need the spike if you still have a loose receiver. Titan comes with an adjustment screw to make the receiver snug. If that doesnít work...then get the spike...i now have a spike NIB cause I never needed it.

I have a KIDD 18" bull barrel in a Titan stock with a factory receiver/VBlock and no spike. As said above, no issues with my setup either. Tiny groups a plenty.
