Im pretty sure its an Eastern Rat Snake, but I didn't have the nerve to flip him over and see if he had a white chin.....
Thank you for posting all those [email protected] distance..... you really got me over the edge on this 22 project.
BTW what do you like to set your trigger pull at on your 22's? I am still at the factory setting with this set up.

My 455's have the original CZ single set triggers.
Both are set with 3lbs straight pull and 12 ounce set pulls.
For hunting the 3 lb pull does the job.
Off the bench the 12 ounce set breaks just the way I like.

Glad to see you're having fun.

I recently started cleaning more often and I think it helps. I got some carbon cleaner from Bore Tech to get the carbon ring.

My Grand daughter said that is a black rat snake.

The trigger pull on my Vudoo is less than 1#.

Another fun thing to do is use a 10-22 and see how many shots you can get off with hits on steel before you hear the first hit.

Thanks Bill
I think your grand daughter is probably right. Hope I don't get a chance to find out this weekend.
Im going to clean the bore and see where the cold first shot goes.
I need to get some more paint and give the buffalo a workout.
Thanks for all the great photos and the details on the set up you use.
