Picked up this Single Six Convertible today at a decent price. Gun and both cylinders are in excellent condition. Serial number says it was shipped in 2014.

Congratulations! I have an almost exact twin to it. Mine was made in 2015 and I bought it used but had never been fired. I love that barrel length. I put a Wolff 30 oz trigger spring in mine and it gave me a very nice trigger pull.

Nice, are you going to leave the looks factory or are you going to switch the grips out. Just curious. I hope it shoots really well for you. I have a new stainless in layaway right now. Be a little before she is home with me. Good luck on such a good looking single six.

Thought about walnut grips but undecided.
Also have a Single Six from 1959.

Thanks, I went with the two-tone look as I have always liked that. The Grips were ordered from shop ruger.com and they are diamond wood and they will vary in color substantially one set to the other. Mine are very dark and I am happy as I think it is a good contrast with the two-tone thing.
