Bought this little cutie about a month ago. Put over 850 rounds through it with only one failure to eject which happened on its 3rd round. Added the Laserguard to it and went to the range. After getting it sighted in with the laser I shot about 40 rounds and the firing pin broke. Ordered 2 firing pins with springs and had the parts in 4 days and she is back to normal or better than normal I hope. Fun little gun and surprisingly accurate. Itís nice that the laser allows for use of the sights and doesnít really add to the size of the gun much.

Pretty slick rig! Youíre right that it does not add too much bulk.

Firing Pin breaking at 40 rounds doesn't sound too good for those who think its a good choice for a carry pistol....

850+40 is nearly 900 rounds.

That said, these firing pins are known to break if they're dry fired very much. (I saw one guy's pic of his FP broken into 6 pieces.) Don't know what material Ruger used, but they need to change it to proven steel.

They also need to make the firing pin a bit longer. Viridian has lasers for the LCP2 on sale for $99.
