That has a good look to it. I like the fact that you didnít have to change the front sight.

There are some members that also used the Skinner sight. I donít remember if they had to change the front sight.

The Lyman 17AHB front globe sight pairs perfectly with the Williams FP-GR-TK peep sight on the 9422.

That combination is the most popular for lever action silhouette match shooters.

Thanks for the advice. Seems that brownells finland has those sights in stock.
I must say again. I just love this rifle and a scope is no-go except for ammo testing.

One word of caution if you install a Lyman 17A front globe sight. The dovetail is slightly oversize and will most likely require some filing to fit properly. If the sight fitment is too tight, driving the sight into the ramp can break the tiny screw that attaches the ramp to the barrel.

File the sight, not the ramp. Have a gunsmith do it if you aren't comfortable with the job.

One last tip for the Lyman 17A. Lee Shaver 17 series inserts are better than the ones that come with the globe sight. I highly recommend them.
