Went an did some hard front rest, no back bag, squill peep sight huntin gun. with Rem bulk ammo at 50' today wit my sweetie. Gotts ta say it was ah bit humblin . But it was fun. Were gonna giver another try next Shoots only $8 and they supply targets and ammo. Cheap thrills. Whole shoot only cost bout half the price ah just one Black box. BTW.. What kinda barrel do ya pack on that extree fine shootin 40X? What kinda wind that day?? Next time I'm goin back wit my Marlin hvy barrel bolt, 8x32 scope, some Norma match with ah front and rear rest.. See If I can bring the score up to ah couple points passed plain embarassin. :

mainsail, Clearwater and all gulf beach water is around 89 degrees, this stays in the 80's all year...marty

Had to put on a long sleeve shirt this a.m. @ 58˚.
69.2˚ at present in the heat of the day at our walleye lake. Canadian breezes are ok in the summer, not so much in the winter.

Marty, that photo of the steelhead hasn't aged well, considering it "wasn't that long ago."

there was a bakers dozen that fished and hunted from the mid 60's on. some have passed.

al, there are a few folks here that just returned from traverse city, fishing was off a little. These folks originally from traverse city said the big news up north was the .2 turn abouts since their last trip...marty

Gonna be a couple more with the new Marquette hospital started. New healers promising they wii do better but we are a wait n see crowd.
Zebra mussels knocked my walleye catch rate in the groin down 700% at our lake. Pitiful.
