No I think the lite tuners went out the door when he started saying a longer heavier profile barrel was the way to go. I remember when heavy reverse tapers were the way to go. but like it was said, trying something different is advancing even if the idea fails. you are not going to know if you don't try.

The problem with the multi speed tuning is that was an idea he stole from Bill Calfee, then turned around and vilified Calfee for multiple and various things. The idea is valid and you, I am sure, got it from Marty but he stole the idea from someone else. That is the main problem I have had with marty over the years. If he just came in here and said this thing I have learned over the years from others, and that thing I have learned on my own, and blah blah, I would have no problem with that. And I am sure he has had a good influence of some folks in these forums but I wish he would just leave the personal attacks off and give credit where credit is due. I wont list my credentials but you can look them up on the IR 50 50 site or the ARA site, I have been known to be competitive from time to time, I can certainly tune a rifle.

If you want a $1,000,000 in gold you might have to sift through a 1,000,000 tons of dirt. John

Ok just so I understand if Marty stole ideas from Calfee and Marty's ideas are not valid then that would make both wrong for the uninformed

Earnest is doing fine in sunny Florida, recently purchased a split case of center x from Clint untested...confident enough in my tuning ability to spend $1,305 on untested ammo...shot 249....247....247...and247 on the usbr green monster target...there is no one on this planet that can do the same...lol....Marty

Ps when you folks order ammo from Clint ask if I asked for test lots...lol...marty

By the way lot 59011 is the better of the 2 center x lots, lite tuner no adjustments....shot well in all my rifles...lot 9054 had different poi which resulted in using lite noodle on the suhl and 10x and the smallest bloop on that 40x...if you don't understand that nearly each lot pulls the barrel to a different shape and poi you can never understand barrel time....you guys cannot believe how nice it is here...swimming 2 or 3 times a day, bocce, shuffleboard, pool tables, horseshoes. And Texas hold em 5 days a week...casino is20 minutes away and Tampa downs 30 mins...lol.....marty
