BX-15 Magnum magazine from Ruger

I saw in a thread for the RPR in HMR and WMR that the rifles were available in 15 shot versions. I looked on the Ruger site and sure enough, they make a mag with what they say is the same feed configuration as the 9 rounders.

So can someone please try one of these out and let me know how it functions? I'm in Canada so getting them is a chore. If they do function, I'll order a pail full!!!

Thanks in advance!

As soon as they come in stock one will be headed my way. Will report on quality and function soon as it does.

Only one other spot has it cataloged so far, hopefully they ship shortly after new years. Ruger has rather epic manufacturing capacity, so it shouldn't be long to get them out in the wild.

They are my favorite mags. The BX15 is what the Charger comes with, since then I’ve bought a half dozen more. Absolutely no problems at all, and they give you something to hold only to insert and remove the magazine.

Different:

This is the new (and still unavailable) BX-15 MAGNUM, for .22WMR or .17HMR, not for .22LR...

BX-15 Magnum

Hey I just found this post and was unaware of this product release! shopruger.com was showing these in stock, so I placed one on order immediately! I have been aching for this moment since I got my MLR in 22mag and will update with my experience as soon as it arrives!

Happy Shooting!

Okay, I am officially excited. I ordered two BX-15 Magnum Magazines. They arrived today. Ruger states that the BX-15 will feed as reliably as the standard rotary magazine.

I was able to order 2 of these myself from shopruger.com at the end of last week. Received them yesterday and the quality is absolutely on par with the 22lr offerings that we have so long lusted after in the magnum community! I haven't been able to put them through their paces at the range, but I loaded one up and hand cycled through. I am so excited to finally have this as an option, as standard flush fit 9 rd mags get swallowed up by the VQ trigger group on my MLR in 22 WMR and can be quite the challenge to remove in the field. These lock up and drop out perfectly. Highly recommend picking some up while they are in stock at shopruger.com. They may not have any problems keeping up with demand, but I wasn't about to chance it.

Happy Shooting!

I bought 5 xtra from Lockedloaded.com when I picked up my RPR Rimfire in .22WMR. Now I have mags that interchange between my 10/22 WMR. TGM
