This is a practice match my wife and I shot. There is through the scope footage and we did have some wind. You can see the misses and what I did to correct it.

Thanks for that! I've only been able to watch a couple minutes of it but I'll watch the rest when time permits

The first stage at the match this month is 300 yds 10 shots, 5 weak side + 5 strong side. I'll be lobbing 'em in hoping I can hit the hill out there haha

As long as you make a good wind call, it will make it. Shot the NRL22X match in Yuma AZ, we had a stage with 3 targets, 98, 155, 300. While 30ft up on a scissor lift, in pitch black lol it was a night match.

And there's the big issue for me. Tomorrow afternoon they have a practice day weather permitting. So hopefully I'll have a much better idea of what's going on this time.

I did get to the practice session. It was a little rainy and the wind was blowing like crazy from the other direction haha. Still good practice and I was actually hitting targets better than I thought I should be.

Second PRS match is now under my belt. I did much better this time. Almost doubled my score from the first match. I still had major issues hitting targets at 250, 275, and 300 yds. Need to keep working on the long stuff. We also had a stage that was basically two KYL racks at 50 yds. I only hit 1 out of 10. I even dumped a round on the plate next to the rack to see where I was hitting. It hit dead nuts where I was aiming. Went back to the rack and resumed missing lol. The wind was up a little more by then but the day before I was hitting the same targets pretty consistently in a much stronger wind.

Had a great time regardless. Saw some really nice rigs. One guy in my squad had a new Rim-X build. Lots of other cool stuff out there. Great day overall!

Yep! There was 1 stage that was 5 shots weak side and 5 shots strong side at 300 yards. I took a big 0 on that one. After that I sent a message to some friends about my progress. One of the guys said, can't you see where you're hitting? I said sure I can...all around the target

I'm currently using the last of two bricks of SK Rifle Match that was lucky enough to buy a few months ago. That was averaging 1050 FPS, ES was 29. Don't recall what SD was. Honestly wasn't too concerned about because, with what little ammo I have, I can't afford to be choosy. It shot pretty well for me at 50 and 100 yds indoor. So that's what I've been using. I hadn't shot it past 100 yds until now. I also have a couple other bricks of SK Rifle Match and about 400 rounds of SK Long Range Match. I tested the long range match at the same time and got 1088 FPS avg and ES was 26. I'll burn up what's left of that next

A year ago I had no idea I'd become interested in a new shooting discipline. So I got caught with my pants down on the whole ammo thing. At this point I'm in ammo conserve mode and just trying to get through my first season with what I have on hand. I started looking for Center-X about 6 months ago and haven't been able to buy any yet. I still have some Pistol Match, Eley Action, Geco Match and some other odds and ends that be used as a last resort. Hopefully the ammo situation will start to loosen up and I'll be better prepared for next year
