Interesting project. Who built it? Understanding that ammo quality/consistency hasn't improved, are there noticeable gains in accuracy over similarly scoped BMAGs or is it primarily an improvement in ergonomics, component quality, and esthetics?

If you've got the desire and the money why not, don't know that it will shoot any better than this one but if it works for you, it works for me.

A close up on that target, gunsmith put three on the paper at 100 yards with my supplied Winchester 15 Gr. ammo.

I have a highly accurate B-Mag I did up myself but I've always hated the bolt. Savage just messed up a great gun with a bolt that can be closed while not in battery. I have worked around it but it's always on my mind. When Rim-X said they made this I wanted one but I just can't bring myself to pay for it. I'm holding out that Bergara will do one I can buy for under 1200 or so one day.

Anyways, beautiful rifle. You did real good. How much is just the barreled action?

Send a message via AIM to comfisherman
Glad to see they are finally shipping.

Did they ship directly or is this a primal rights unit?

Oddly satisfied with the volquartsen for now, but may still do a rimx some day if the bug catches again.

Nice rifle!! I just picked up my RimX action from my LGS, I will be using a Lothar Walther drop in barrel on mine.

Very nice build! Greg certainly seems to have those RimX builds really dialed in.
