I've owned a Sidewinder Magnum since they came out and its traveled a fair bit in my back pocket, bought a Ranger II and it took two tries to get a "usable" one, still not real happy with it. Yesterday while in a distant Gun Shop I spotted a "deal" on a 2" Black Widow, OTD for under $230, so slightly used I had to double check it and sitting right next to a NIB for $329. Maybe not a steal but reasonable.

The old ones...

The new...

Those fat grips are likely going to have to go, maybe the smaller rubber grips, I've not had problems with recoil with these...some faux stag? Maybe....:D A back pocket holster is on order.

Working in the yard or out in the woods I generally have the Sidewinder with two shotshells up and three Critical Defense HP's backing them, in these parts its Copperheads and seldom bigger than 2 feet. The Shotshells work well.:bthumb:

Rides well in the right front pocket.
