I'm still up in the air on whether I want to shoot my S&W 617 (thread here) or my Kel-Tec P-17 for Rimfire Steel Challenge this year. The P-17 is ready to go for the most part. The trigger is what it is, which is just going to take a lot of practice to master. I might bring both and wing it.
Putting a grip on mine helped me with the trigger. A loose grip really made the trigger more noticeable. Once my grip improved the trigger "improved". YMMV
Thanks for the advice. I'll try that. It certainly seems like a trigger that must be gotten used to.
