No, no, not what you're thinking.

Our club has an annual members-only drawing for a new firearm every year, I went to the meeting last night and they drew my name out of the bucket. Nice little Sig Sauer P365 9mm. Made me happy!!

Since there is no ammo available and no components either, at least at reasonable prices, it will live in the safe for a while . To add insult to injury, not more than 60 days ago I sold my pristine RCBS carbide die set.

Anyway, here it is:

Not a round to be had in town, Al. It's OK, I'll just wait it out.

Great score. You have pistol ammo you can trade locally for some 9?

Congrats. That's a great gun.

I'm finding ammo on-line so don't give up. Check the Natchez and MidwayUSA websites. You may be surprised.

Good luck...I hope you get to shoot it soon.

It's fun wining something better than a coffee mug, eh?

Few years back a guy who owns an airgun repair place did a Christmas "pick a number closest to..." thing on the forums. IIRC, there were over 1000 entries.

I won this 1970s Sheridan Model E, LNIB and just resealed. I couldn't believe it. I was so happy, I gave him a clean Crosman 600 to give away at Easter...

I was thinking earlier today that this is probably the time to buy a 9mm just cos everyone else will be leaving them alone. And 9 will be the first calibre to come back strong.

In my case, you’re 100% correct on what I was thinking.

Congrats on a fine acquisition at the best price EVER!

Nice prize . . . Of all the drawings I have entered in my life my number was only called once and that was the last firearm in a group and something I never would have purchased. The good news - I was allowed to trade it in at the pickup location toward something I could use . . . so that trade value is what I won.

Keep checking . . . you will come across some ammo for the P365 . . . In the meantime you can do always do some dry fire practice to get the feel of the firearm.

Somewhere over hill and dale someone somewhere has 9MM and be desirous of some 22 ammo I'm betting. Your job is to root him out and make an offer he can't refuse eh? Use your age card wisdom if it comes to that.
