Don't know where you're at but my Walmart always has it. $46 something for a box of 200.

Update:

You do realize there are two versions of this now? Don't have the specs but I believe the new one is a little hotter.

Are you referring to the new blue box design? They are still published as 2,650fps. Walmart charges just under $47 for the 200 pack here but none in stock.

I got one yesterday at Wally world. Local price was $46.99. Fri evening I was calling around some shops looking for 17hmr. One told me he had a few Hornady 17 grain for 20 bucks for 50 rounds. Walmart worked out to be 11 and change per 50. Starting to get greedy.

For whatever reason it's cheaper to buy the A17 in 50 round boxes than it is to buy the 200 round "value" pack.

Where have you found 50rd boxes? Are you talking about the discontinued 50rd or has CCI reintroduced a 50rd A17 box?

Probably discontinued. I just remember a while back seeing them at Walmart and it was cheaper to buy 4/ 50 round boxes than one 200 round box of A17. It was only like a $5 difference but still didn't make much sense to me.

I have never seen it in 50 round boxes but my local farm & ranch store has a good supply of the 200 round boxes at $49 and change. That's good to me as I don't have to drive fifty miles and go into Walmart.

Not saying it was a big difference, just thought it was odd when they were sitting side by side. I have a Walmart about 5 mins away and the only ammo I buy from them is 17HMR. It's usually about $11/ 50 rounds wether it's Hornady, CCI, or whatever the price seems to stay the same. The reason I buy it there is because they always have it in stock. The Walmarts in MA don't even carry any of the "evil gun" calibers anymore.

I would have too. Cabelaís isnít an option for me as itís a two hundred mile drive. Not having any of the large retailers in my area is the price I pay for living in a sparsely populated area but I prefer less people over increased shopping options.
