Email Cathy at goodshootinginc and tell her you want to lot test any of the ammo they sell but it is out of stock. Ask her to put you on her list of people waiting for whatever it is you want to try, and she will actually do it and get back to you whenever it comes in. When they let you know, you buy the test package and order the best shooting lot for your gun. They actually hold the ammo that you are given to test until they hear from you as long as you test it in a reasonable period of time.

I bought a brick of Center X out of 4 samples and a case of SK Standard Plus from 3 samples this way and couldn't find better people to deal with. Plus they retailed a case of Center X from a lot testing session at Lapuas facility in Ohio at a later date.

Finally, for the ammo they sell they are very reasonably priced. Oh, did I mention fast delivery too?

In the meantime, learn your rifle with anything you can find. You'll appreciate the better stuff even more when you get one that your gun really likes.

Every rifle is different and so is every brand of ammunition so take your time...you might be surprised by what works best in your rifle.
