Didn’t really need it as I already have one, but scored another LNIB 5.5” stainless bull this past weekend. I like the 5.5” bulls a lot. I did miss out on a 5-1/4” stainless heavy taper that a local gun shop posted online for a song the other week 😞. I’d love to have one of those.

To me that is the absolute best variation of Ruger semi-auto .22 lr pistols ever made. I picked one up just like yours in LNIB condition several years ago for $350 and was thrilled to death!

I tend to agree. I went through two gov targets(stainless & blued) but I just shot the 5.5” bull better, and was better balanced for me. I do wish I still had the stainless gov for collection purposes. But unfortunately other things take priority.

I too would agree with this. I went through a competition slabside as well as a Government target (both 6 7/8) and found my best shooter was my 5.5' bull barrel. So, the former two were sold off. Oh well.....

If I only had one .22 pistol it would be a KMK512. In fact, that was my only .22 pistol for a number of years.

I had a similar experience last weekend. Picked up another 5.5" bull barrel at a "Cow County" gun show. Didn't need it but for $325 with 5 mags, williams firesights and Volquartzen upgrade kit, I couldn't pass it up.

That’s a good buy, I think anything less than $400 is a deal on a stainless target. I bought a pretty well used good condition armalite ar7 for $100 a while ago. The guy traded me straight up for the mkii. I was pleased.
