Ammo was shipped in cardboard box. With this flimsy box containing the ammo.

They've been selling both .22lr and .22wmr in those type boxes for several years. The Swamp people or CHoot 'em whatever they call them. Don't care much for them either but better than no ammo.

First time I have seen hm2 packed like this. Midway’s site shows regular boxes like most all are accustomed to, not the flimsy box in the video above.

Obviously for big shipments to distributors I can see a pretty substantial weight savings not using the standard plastic box per 50 rounds.
Higher fuel (higher shipping cost) may be drivers for this new packaging.

Or maybe the electric semis can’t pull as much. Lol

I agree. I bought five packs and I couldn't believe they wasn't better packaged. I have several of the choot'em mini mags in the same packaging, I don't know why I expected these to be any better. It's better than a zip lock bag,but just barely. Lol

Wait. You got all your ammo undamaged but you didn't like the box? When many can,t find any ammo?? Seems people find anything to complain about.

My local Runnings store had 2 cases of these and I was lucky enough to get one. They let me have 2-3 packs/day over a couple days because no one was buying em. I think I may have had the only 17hm2's in the county. Packaging is just fine. I always keep my old plastic cases and ounce you have 6 saved up just take out a row of a hundred, snap it in half and put in used plastic cases. Could also use 100rnd used cases also. It's quick, easy and saves money for you and the manufacturer.
