I was at a thrift store this weekend and came across a small thin cast iron skillet with only markings "2019-1". The diameter is about 5" across, about 1/2" deep and 10" from handle tip to end. I thought it would make a handy cooking implement for day hiking.
From what I have found and seen on internet, these were part of a promotional Nestle brownie cooking gift package. It appears it was meant to be used to cook the contents of the brownie package in an oven. it only cost a $1 - I thought it worth the purchase.
See attachments - the flashlight next to it for scale is a standard AA Mag-Lite.
