Could you please look for any information on a m-1 ser # 8611 ?
Still m-1 bolt and not re stamped on receiver .

1922M1 number 8611 is on the sales list as having been sold on 12-19-1927. The original bolt would have been serial numbered to the receiver. My 1922M1 #8674 has a 9-26 dated barrel.

Thanks , I'll need to check the barrel date . This was from my uncles gun shop that closed in the early 80s . Unfortunately it's been altered .
At least I got boxes of bolts and spare parts.

SN 174, in it's unaltered MI configuration, was sent to Ft Logan in 1936, (located near Denver, 1886 - 1946)

174M1 071136 FT LOGAN
