This will give you a idea of the process. On the Varmint stock I did a lot of drilling so that it would make Hunter Class weight.

Thanks for that- I was pretty sure looking at the drop in the stock that it started life as an Ultra Lux. Not sure I want to do all that drilling on my Varmint stock, the pillars and bedding added too much weight and put it beyond the realm of minor weight adjustment- gonna go with the Meier, price is right and the stock should fit well.

This year is 541T sporter barrel. Topped with a Sightron SIIBS 6-24SIL. (not shown). It's in the middle. The bottom rifle is my dad's 541S that he shoots silhouette with.

Boy those remys are pretty guns.

Thanks lefty. I made the rest out of scrap steel sitting in my garage.

Very nice! I have the mirror image of that one. It's a great shooter.

Thanks. The rifle is an Anschutz Model 64 MS (Silhouette) made in 1983 and the scope is a Sightron SII Big Sky 12 x 42. I feel very fortunate to have found one in this condition.

There are some very nice silhouette rigs posted here. Here is a photo of my silhouette rig.

It is a 2009 Anschutz 1712 with a Leupold FX-3 in a straight 12 power magnification.

It isn't much but I do love shooting it!

I included my bolt closure tool for when I shoot CCI Stingers. It takes a few taps to get the bolt to close when I use those.
