Muskrat looks a lot like a nutria except they are 1/4 the size.

Nah...here's the Nutria killer:
Cut to 16.5" with a TAC-67 suppressor

Or this one:
Cut to 6" with the same TAC-67 suppressor.

The top one has a cheapo Tasco scope, the bottom one a Walther Top-Point red dot.
Both are as silent as the night.

The story I was told was a hurricane in the 1940s destroyed their pens and they went forth and multiplied. True or not? Lots of species have been released for odd reasons.

Pets? cute? The kind of cute only a mother could love, or someone from PETA. The Louisiana dpt. of wildlife and fishiers says that they were brought here for the fur industry in the 1920's. and that they still are trapped for their fur. kinda mink like. i say kill them all.

Either 5 or 7 dollars per tail I believe. You have to sign up for it and get landowner approval. I plan to try it next year.

OregonForester, those are some really nice looking rifles. I like the idea of a suppressor. Looks much like mine, but more quite I suppose. These are fun. I'm thinking about going with a red dot..
