Mine is a 1987 , looks like it was shot very little if at all. Has all matching numbers and tool kit. Got it at a gun show $115.00 otd . Great shooter.

I just joined the fun....

Bought a 1972 UMC today, $95. Will be picking it up in a week. Mis-matched bolt #, but otherwise seems fine. Will also be putting the little Weaver V22 on it, after tryig the open sights ( 58 yar old eyes, after all ).
Looking forward to playing with it!!
Mark

1987

i got mine a couple of days ago after seeing it in local gunshop for $69. the shop had a tag on it indentifying it as a Norinco. i noticed the markings were identical to any m1969 i had ever seen and thought maybe Norinco had imported a few.
upon cleaning and closer inspection i saw under the barrel in front of the foreend a stamping "made in romania m1969". the bolt number matches the serial number and the rifle is accurate at 30 feet. (all the room i had in my garage). it feeds rounds reliablly. the magazine appears to have been shaved some by the bolt cycling.
i think i am going to enjoy this gun, despite the roughness of it's outward appearance.

Picked up an m69 dated 1971. The bolt number does not match the rest. Dosen't feed well, but shoots like a champ with the iron sights.

M69 1978 all numbers match. Truly the best value in rimfire 22's.

Our bicentenial year-1976. My son gave it to me with an extra mag. I refinished the stock, and mounted a 22 Mag 4x scope. Its ok, not great but a good value.

Mine is dated 1977. The stock is painted black and I don't know if I want to remove the paint. It may be covering a multitude of sins. Got it two months ago for $125 with an extra magazine. I still haven't shot it. I am either too busy or it is too cold and windy.

1983 for me. I just got it yesterday for 100.00. Everything matches I'm thinking maybe sleeve it to a .17 Mach 2 and shorten the barrel... The dovetail or lack of it will have to be fixed. I think the mill and a dovetail cutter should make short work of it. These are really nice guns for the money. The action resembles the Anschutz 54. Probably in looks only. Do all these guns have the folding leaf sights?

My 1971 made M69 has the folding rear leaf. I think it was standard issue.
