edit: ispc, what did you use for the cheek rest and how is it held in place?
I got the cheek rest from brownells. It's a Choate part that is held by a screw into the stock. www.brownells.com

Mine

It is an actual folder from before the ban. The barrel is threaded and the flash supressor is from an M16 A2.

I just posted mine last week...
https://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums...d.php?t=112621
It weighs in at 4.8 lbs, and I am looking at adding a red dot. Thanks for the information.

I guess I could do this in black!

Ruger24,
The SSS ammo will clover leaf at 50yrds. I have not tried it with the suppressor on it yet to see if that changes anything.

It was only $8 at cabelas and the rail is off of ebay. I just attached it with some screws and there you have it, works great to track a bouncing jackrabbit.

Brand New Ruger 10/22.....$200
Evolution Stock with AR accs...$350
New Simmons scope and rings...$50
Spending $600 on just a plinker.......PRICELESS

Will be changing the barrel and some internals soon but this is it for now.

Can't help myself......gotta say it. Tactical, scamtical. Tactical is about killing people. That's what "tactical" is, what it means. You guys planning on killing people with 10/22's with lazers and flashlights and red dots? And.....well I haven't seen a bayonet yet but I'm sure it is coming. Tactics are a military/police way of killing people or at least reducing them to being less than a threat to life and limb.

Tactical 10/22s? What's the point? What threat is being reduced? Who do you consider "tactics" are being needed for.

Now don't get me wrong, your money and you can spend it any way you want but what are you trying to do with a "tactical" 22? Is it like playing cowboys and injuns? Just a game? What?
