My 10/22 at the range today

Didn't know where else to put this so.... I went out to the local gun club today and had the whole place to myself, all 90 acres of it. A good Sunday morning to sight in the 10/22 and ring some steel.

Welcome aboard! And you already know how to post pics.

So tell us about the rifle and how about some pics of your targets too?

Keep a good grip on your wallet as there are many here who will find a lot of ways for you to spend your money.

Doug

Thanks and glad to be aboard. It's the Ruger model 31143 with the factory installed Viridian® EON 3-9x40 scope. Just an overall pleasure to shoot with. I'm fortunate in that I'm no more than 7 minutes drive time away from the local gun club. Both indoor and outdoor ranges (up to 500 yds) and 90+ acres of private land that allows for hunting, deer, turkey, varmints, etc. And I'll get some pics up next time of the targets.

I like going to the range by myself as well. We have 90 acres at our club, but our longest ranch is only 100 yds. I can go to a 200/400 range with friends occasionally.

The 10/22 is one of my favorites to take out. I have made all mine a little better, with simple upgrades and some new barrels.

Have fun and keep shooting!

I'm jealous!

I've got either indoor 25-yard range or a public, outdoor range where you wait to check in, shoot with someone on either side of you, and have to move out after one hour.

So at what distance did you shoot that rifle? How did she do?

I have several builds, but 2 of my favorite rifles are my mostly stock carbine from 1979, and my mostly stock old 10/22 T I put together out of a used T barrel and other spare parts. not my most accurate, but very respectable shooters. I need to take them out more.

Same situation here. Have to make an appointment, its run by FWC. The range officials are pretty good though. They are going to have a trap and skeet section some day. Never shot that but would like to try. You have to watch a video the first time. Lots of good info like, don't put two shells in a single shot shot gun, don't shoot the wildlife just the targets... no lie. I wonder who was the person that made them think they had to say stuff like that.

Anyway welcome!
