My steel challenge dynamic duo is now complete so I figured I would share. I have posted about the rifle in the Ultimate section before, but here are the details:

- Full KIDD Barreled Action Supergrade with rear tang and scalloped bolt
- KIDD ULW fluted barrel with 28 hole muzzle brake
- KIDD single stage trigger set at 1.5 pounds
- KIDD Chassis
- Standard A2 buffer tube
- Phase 5 universal mini stock
- Bravo Company GUNFIGHTER Pistol Grip Mod 0
- Bravo Company GUNFIGHTER KAG Hand Stop
- C-More RTS2B - V5 (8 MOA dot) with RTS2MT-200 mount

The pistol, a Volquartsen Black Mamba, I just got in today and cannot wait to shoot it. It is also wearing a C-More RTS2B with 8 MOA dot.

Two very good choices. Now invest in a ton of ammo and have at it.

Guys, thanks for the positive comments!

rwgray76, the KIDD rifle as expected is amazing. My times have been faster with it then when I was using my 15/22. It is light, easy to point, and FAST! I could not be happier with it.

Have not shot the pistol yet. Had calf surgery on both legs just before it arrived and have not been able get to the range Walking better now and that will be rectified this weekend. I expect good results once the red dot is on target, but will post an update.

Update on the Pistol

Update on the Scorpion: Finally got to the range last weekend...the Scorpion shot GREAT! Zero'ed the C-more at 20 yrds, and got to work with CCI SV. Only one malfunction in 400 rounds, primer struck but did not go off. Reloaded the round and it went bang. As I expected, the pistol is light and fast. Some say comps are not needed on 22's, but I like the single hole comp on the scorpion and I am getting zero noticeable muzzle rise making it super easy to transition and stay on the plates.

Love and highly recommend this pistol set up for rimfire steel challenge!

Get the Volquartsen Lead Pulverizer for when you want to clean your compensator. Instead of having to use a toxic liquid all you need to do it gun this through the comp and it's clean.
