I read an old post about CenterPoint scopes and got the impression that everyone had a low opinion of them,I have a 4-16×40AO mildot on my 1022 and I have the same scope on my centerfire bolt rifle and have been very satisfied with them I've had no problems.
I've had other scopes with bigger names and higher prices and I haven't seen any difference other than price and or features.
Many of the cheap Chinese scopes work fine, especially if one doesn't use any of the adjustments frequently after its dialed in....and many do not. JMO YMMV ETC
One of the concerns I had was weight. They are heavier than a scope with more quality. That being said, Al is correct: if you sight them in and then leave them alone, they seem to function fine. Besides, most Walmarts will refund your money if you don’t like them (packaging intact).
yes I leave mine as is as soon as I got them set,the only thing I adjust is the AO.
I use the mildot system just cause I'm an old school old geezer lol. If I find myself questioning a shot I just open my Strelok+ app and double check the details just for fun.
