He starred in TV shows like Wild Wild West and Black Sheep Squadron. Also starred in many movies.

He was making a western frontier movie along the Platte River in eastern Colorado that my LEO brother was working security for. My brother took a battery out of his flashlight and told Robert "knock it off - I dare you". He did!

RIP Robert, and thanks for all the great shows!

As kid I was fascinated by the show Baa Baa Black Sheep and those awesome inverted gull wing F4 Corsairs. It even sparked an interest to study about the real history that inspired the show. As kid watching the show, I was thinking yeah right. Then after reading about the real deal I was thinking no wonder Major Boyington was known for drinking a lot. Just unreal courage and grit. Thanks for the fun, fascination and inspiration Mr. Conrad, RIP.

When I was young I liked him as the Blacksheep squadron leader and in Wild Wild West.

Loved the Wild Wild West back in the day. I believe he was quite a character on screen and off. God Speed Robert...
