I prefer the Generals Kitten.

Seriously, I was placed on a strong antibiotic a while back which completely killed off the good bacteria in my digestive track. I suffered for 2 weeks. I Googled my problem and took the suggestion of Chinese Food. In 2 days I was fixed. Awesome Stuff.

General Tso's with port fried rice and an egg roll. About 5000 calories. Haven't had it in a long time. No fun getting older.

Cold sesame noodles. Taste like creamy peanut butter noodles. Only about 4000 calories.

Steamed shrimp and brocolli. yum. :-(

Google Hunan Taste in Denville NJ. The number 1 chinese restaurant in NJ. The real old fashion type restaurant with koi ponds and fish tanks on the inside. The inside and outside decor is classic. Food is top notch as well. Great place.

Most chinese is now a place in a strip mall for takeout maybe a few lousy formica tables. Gone are the days of the classic chinese restaurant. When I was a kid, there was a classic chinese restaurant called Chan's Dragon Inn. They had a coin fountain outside. We would steal the coins and buy matchbox cars when they were .50 cents each and came in the little cardboard box. Restaurant is still there but the food sucks.

Sichuan (Szechuan) hot pot can be pretty "diet safe" because you order individual items and cook them in the soup at the table.

Yesterday I had pork, beef, spinach, cabbage and a couple types of mushrooms. A nearly keto meal.

Dim Sum at the Silver Palace in Chinatown NYC. Amazing variety! Ate there most Sunday nights for 20 years. Even went to a wedding banquet there for a colleague. I wonder if it even exists anymore?

Sadly, I just googled it and found out it too is gone! Most of what I knew in Manhattan's ethnic neighborhoods no longer exists.

im for DIM Sum

some family style dishes are great too. but you need to order in advance.

Abalone Soup is to die for as long as there is some Abalone in it.

I ate at the same Chinese restaurant most every Saturday for twenty five years,
never had to order. Mabel would bring my favorite, Sesame chicken and pork fried rice. Sadly they closed the restaurant after I moved. Haven't had decent Sesame chicken since!
