Couldn't crack 240 this month, but since winter is rapidly approaching I thought I'd post to stay in the game.

You're always in the game Dunlop. Plenty of month left. Think X and follow through. Watch that round hit the 10 ring.

What Squirrelbark said. Those things are only good for one target, then they start to rot you rifle from the inside. Get them out quick.

I myself have found that follow through is the last but most important piece of the puzzle. All things leading up to the shot can be perfect, but without the follow through the chances of an X goes down. Just like Bowling, Pool, Horse Shoes, and Archery, you have to get into a trance when ready to squeeze that shot, and stay there until a second after you can see that X disappear before even thinking about the rest of your moves to move on to the next shot.

Don't let them get to you Hicksville, that plastic will still be here thousands of years from now. You're doing your part keeping it out of the landfills.

I think these targets you guys have been posting may have something to do with the issues I've been having with rapid heart rate. (Afib) Had a heart cath today and the Dr. said everything looked normal. Hopefully I'll get some shooting done before the end of the month.

What did I do wrong?

EDITED 10-28-20
Tried my last target today to no avail. Just ain't happening lately. At least I replaced the blurred picture with one a little better.

Good to see that a few folks are getting out and having fun. Please excuse the shakey picture but if it turns out to be my best I'll take another one for the record. Now someone please tell me where I went wrong. I shot this first target with the 452 American. Anyway, it was a 248-11X and that X count only happens once in a while.

So today I figured I'd try again. I had tried to shoot the 255 Tac. and the 452 Silhouette that same day and could do nothing. Actually scratched one target with each rifle because they were so bad I didn't even finish them. Started out the same way this afternoon. Couldn't hit squat with either rifle but at least they got me loosened up. I hadn't done anything at all to the 452 other than run a couple of patches down it to get the excess out. Ended up with a 245-3X.

Obviously, the difference was me but everything felt the same. If anything, the weather was a little better today with no wind at all. I guess it's just frustration setting in but I'm gonna blame it on the Covid having me upset.

I managed to shoot two targets this morning. Scratched the first after three rows the second ended up a 242-6X. I'm going to blame it on still being hungover from all the meds they gave me during my heart cath Tuesday.

Gave some Center X a try in my CZ 457, thought I might join in on the fun. Hope I have these scored correctly, if not someone let me know.

Mighty fine shooting highspeed. Is that a .22 scope or did you have the parallax changed?

I don't want one of those procedures Dan, but if you got any of those meds left over I'll take them, they I'll have a legitimate excuse.

Thanks guys! The scope is a 3x9 x33 Ultralight EFR. I just wish it had the fine crosshairs in it. I have been thinking about mounting a 4x12x40 on it that has fine crosshairs. But would probably have to replace the rings also, so may just leave it as it is. This gun was supposed to be a donor gun for my Lilja 17M2 barrel, but after shooting it I decided to buy another one to rebarrel. That picture doesn't do it justice, here is a better one.
