Who makes "beautiful" single-shot .22 rifles or handguns?

I recently read a thread where a man was showing off the rifle he bought himself,,,
As a reward for 60 years of gainful employment.

He called it his Retirement Rifle,,,
It was a beautiful Shiloh-Sharps in 45-70.

I will soon be retiring after 54 years of gainful employment,,,
His thread got me to thinking of what could be my "Retirement Reward."

In my case I would want it to be a single-shot chambered for .22 LR,,,
It could either be a rifle or a pair of handguns,,,
But I would want something truly lovely.

Here is an example of a beautiful handgun,,,
Unfortunately Uberti discontinued them years ago.

A pair of these in .22 would have me weeping for joy,,,
But as I stated earlier, they are made of Unobtanium.

Do any of you good folk know of something that might suit my need?

If so, would you post a picture or a link to it (them)?

I would appreciate any ideas you may have.

Thanks,,,

Aarond

Thanks JTJ,,,

Thanks JTJ,,,

Something like that is exactly what I meant.

I wonder though,,,
Would they be Uberti imports?

No matter in any case,,,
They match the Beautiful requirement.

Thanks again,,,

This is for comparison.
As far as pistols go you might consider Thompson Contender with fancy wood.

Go take a look at C.Sharps Arms, they will custom make whatever you want. Same with Shilo Sharps Rifle Company.

They will make whatever rifle you want in .22 LR, OR , you can buy like a 45-70 model and get the Crossnoe .22 LR insert , Two guns for more or less the price of one, the inserts shoot very well indeed.

Some wonderful choices certainly; a fine single-shot .22LR rifle IMHO.

Yes I have heard good things about the inserts, Lee Shaver makes one too. And if you reload there are shooting gallery rounds you can reload, 5 grains of powder with a lead ball or 140 grain collar button boolets. Good for shooting 50 to 100 yards, about the power of a 9 mm round.
