Mainspring stuck??

I could have posted this in te vq forum but I figure this is an issue I could get help with here. I have two scorpions, mkiii and a 22/45. The mkiii stopped ejecting and although I figured it was an extractor problem I wasnít 100% sure. So I tore both pistols down and swapped the bolts. Sure enough the mkiii ran without any issue and the 22/45 stopped ejecting. So I ordered a new extractor from vq and waited. Well the extractor made it in yesterday and I started to tear the pistol down. The mainspring moved a bit and then became stuck. I tried a few things short of prying on it...I donít want to mess up the anodized finish. Any ideas? Picture included

Thanks
Iron
