thanks to those that posted replies. got the info i needed. the 144 LSB is the bull barrel model ect. had seen barrels posted on ebay as bull barrels that were actually standard weight target barrels. in the distant past bull barrels were considered to be more accurate than lighter barrels even in .22 rimfire. today a pencil barrel may be as accurate as heavy barrels especially in .22 rimfire. the 580 series remingtons were pencil thin barrels but were more accurate than many heavier barrels of the day. am sure some Mossberg .22 rifles shared this fact. was seeing Mossberg .22 barrels on ebay being sold as bull barrels that were not actually the correct diameter fro the Mossberg bull barrel. have to remember few ebay sellers are actually gun nuts and have much knowledge
of what they are selling

I've got a nice 144LSB barrel laying around here I offered to rosscoe(?) a couple of months ago.I was going to get it shorten d to 20" and have it fluted and reblued and stick it on one of my old T bolt 144's to see how it would shoot compared to my CZ445 varmint that has a similar size barrel, but so far haven't had the time or opportunity to do so and probably won't get around to it.
