CZ, Savage, Ruger, Vudoo, JP Enterprises Shootout

Manufacturer Range Day Competition. Originally this video was going to be a light film production with CZ, Savage and Ruger. But my friend showed up with his Vuddo and JP Enterprises Semi Auto.

I did not expect the Ruger American Rimfire to turn in the group it did being an off the shelf stock rifle. Only thing done was sanding of the stock to free float the barrel.

Stick around to the end to hear how silent the Vudoo is with suppressor and for the ranking of 1 - 5.

Who would you pick as the overall winner before seeing this video?

I'm going to bet on the CZ for the smallest group. You didn't say which model, but, I am thinking that it is going to be a 455.

Great video, thanks for posting. That Vudoo was really quiet and I think the JP is pretty cool. All are great looking rifles.

The guy who spent three weeks researching to convince himself Ford was the best truck will pitch a fit when someone tells him he made the wrong choice and should have bought a Chevy instead. Won't matter that there are charts, graphs, and stats that prove any points of comparison. Confirmatory bias kicks in and information is discounted as "bologna" if it disagrees with his own conclusions.

I'm looking forward to Cuz's side-by-side comparison between his new rifle and other reasonable competitors he cares to document as well as you did in your video. Well done; thanks for sharing it.

Im not gona go to the trouble of makeing a video but i have about 10, 50 shot targets that were shot after several k testing and trying rounds including 2500 of one lot number of 4-5 tried of cx . All that convinced me to send my v-22 to lapua, When i get it back, i’ll post a comparison. If Vudoo dont out shoot the 1416 “heavy barrel” thumbhole, ill be whineing to Vudoo for my money back and saying yall are right.

There is no "right" or "wrong" or anything to prove here. On the day layer3guru did his shooting with those rifles using that ammo and under those conditions with his finger on the trigger those are his results. Your mileage may vary, as they say, but one either has to accept the results of his unscientific testing as reported by him for what they are or insinuate that what he said happened didn't happen.

Sorry, but that's the long and short of it and I'm willing to accept that the results he reported are the results he obtained under the conditions he quite clearly puts forth in his video.

It's a grumpy bunch of old grognards here. It's not a contest to see who can be grumpiest.

The narrator says the CZ 455 ten shot group was 0.427 MOA at 50 yards. That would be very, very good as 1 MOA at 50 is about 0.5 inches.
