Great stuff, remington600!

Vintage advertising pieces make excellent decor in a gun room, especially if you have an ammo box display there as well.

Were you able to come up with an estimated date on any of them? Very helpful research material for box collectors, when the date of the ad piece is known and it depicts actual boxes of the time.

Thanks for sharing.

Best regards ~ ~ ~ GGN

How old is a 22 box to be considered "Old 22 Rimfire box?"

Collect them all. Sooner or later they all will be "Old .22 Rimfire Boxes".

I'm 35 years young so alot of stuff is going to seem old to me compared to some folks. The reason I ask is because the title says Old Rimfire box. Not this will eventually be old one day.

Delivered to my door early this afternoon from a Virginia auction last week. Three nice old boxes, still full of original rounds, two of which I didn't yet have in the collection. The Winchester box I already had, full and clean. So this one goes up for re-sale.

Happy to have them join the gang. Only flaw is one end flap of the Winchester box is loose 1/4 of length. Still a handsome looking bunch.

Earlier was at a new gun store just a few miles up the coast and looking over all those Winchester boxes pictured above. Tempted to load up on 'em but think I'll stick to older vintage stuff.

Best regards ~ ~ ~ GGN
